The age range for events can vary anywhere from 21 to 40 years old. The average age range for events is 22 to 35.

Yes! About 99% of people attend Six Degrees events solo and are always happy they did. It can be tough to put yourself out there, but we try to foster an inclusive environment where the vibes are just right.

We're there to help facilitate conversation with others and introduce you to new people. If you'd like feel more comfortable/settled, please send us an email and we will make sure we can do what we can to ease any anxiety that you may have.

Though a majority of our attendees are women, our events are open to all genders.

There is a good mix of transplants and born and bred New Yorkers that attend events. About 73% of overall attendees are from out-of-state who are looking to make new friends in NYC while 27% are born and bred New Yorkers who are looking to expand their current social circle or make a new friend group entirely, separate from those they have grown up with in the city.

A majority of the Six Degrees community resides in Brooklyn and Manhattan! However, our attendees come from all over the boroughs. We do get some people that travel in from the suburbs of Long Island and Upstate New York as well as Jersey City/Hoboken and Connecticut.

Unless otherwise stated on the individual event page, ticket refunds will be honored up to 24 hours prior to the event if requested through the refund link available in your confirmation email. DMs and texts will not be honored. No exceptions.
